40 Year Old Virgin Star Arrested for Attempted Murder Charge

 40 Year Old Virgin star Shelley Malil was arrested Monday after allegedly stabbing a woman over 20 times, TMZ.com reports.The victim, Kendra Beebe, was the actor`s ex-girlfriend. Beebe, 35, is the mother of two kids. The incident occurred outside of Beebe`s home in the San Diego area. Her children were home at the time of the attack, which was witnessed by neighbors who helped stop bleeding from her wounds. The 43-year-old actor – who played Haziz in 40 Year Old Virgin – was arrested Monday night at a train station. He has been booked at the San Diego County Detention Center. See Us` celeb mug shot gallery. Beebe is currently hospitalized but reportedly expected to survive. "Her chin was almost entirely cut off," neighbor Charleton Lee told KNSD. "She had a huge gash in her arm that looked like a really deep wound that was bleeding profusely." Malil has also appeared in Scrubs, Seinfeld and NYPD Blue.
