R&B singer/songwriter Lil` Mo, who is best known for hits like “Superwoman pt. II” and “4Ever,” has signed a two album deal with Global Music Group.

Lil Mo’s critically acclaimed sophomore album, ‘Meet the Girl Next Door’, released in 2003, and collaborations such as ‘Hot Boyz’ with Missy Elliott, ‘Parking Lot Pimpin’ with Jay-Z, ‘Put It On Me’ with Ja Rule, and most recently ‘Cry’ with LL Cool J on his Exit 13 album, has established Lil` Mo as an R&B sensation.

"We are honored to have Lil’ Mo as the newest member of our Family here at GMG.” said Roland Turner, CEO of Global Music Group.

Mo released her last album “Pain & Paper” via her independent label Honeychild Entertainment in 2007. The album has sold close to one hundred thousand units.

The former Elektra Records songstress will release her new album tentatively titled "Tattoos & Roses: The Rebellion Against My Pain" in 2009.

I am so glad that she is back on a label that is able to get her music out to the masses, like it needs to be. I have missed her in her absense from the music scene. I have to admit that there was nothing on Pain and Paper that i liked, but i will buy the new CD, because there is a Fiyah slow song, something about feeling like the first time, that has been circulating on mix CDs, and the sounds of that tells me that the Mo I grew to love is back at her best!
