Leibovitz defends Cyrus Vanity Fair shoot

 Celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz insists her controversial Miley Cyrus shoot for Vanity Fair was justified, because the pictures of the teenager were "innocent".Leibovitz`s photos of the Hannah Montana star, wearing just a blanket wrapped around her bare back and chest, caused outrage earlier this year because the singer/actress was aged just 15 at the time. Cyrus and Leibowitz both issued apologies over the shoot - but the photographer is adamant the results were misinterpreted. She tells the New York Post, "The Miley picture was a beautiful, strong, simple picture. "I think it`s actually sort of innocent on some level. She loved taking that picture, and she was ready to take that picture. "It`s just that her audience wasn`t ready."
