 It is probably no surprise that Christina Aguilera is a girly-girl. She adores red lipsticks, collects vintage perfume bottles, and had what she calls a "makeup station" custom-built in the Beverly Hills home she shares with her husband, Jordan Bratman, and son, Max, who will turn one next month. "When I was a little girl, I always played with my mother`s fragrances," she says, "For my last album, my image was inspired by the 1920`s and 1930`s styles. Now I am combining mod elements like liquid eyeliner with metallic accents and straight hair and bangs. My lips used to be my focal point, but I am getting more creative with my eyes. I sit in Indian Style and try to keep a very sturdy hand when applying makeup. I have been inspired by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein-then adding my own twist, more of a futuristic feel. I am a very visual person, so I start out with a mood board, a mishmash of magazine covers, pictures, and ads that I am inspired by at the moment. For my fragrance, I started with a photograph I took in Tokyo of the skyline at night that has tons of shapes and bursts of light and color-very energetic. I also pasted up various color swatches and images of pink and fuschia bouquets. Inspire is the word to describe me, it describes my character, and that is the perfect name for my new fragrance," Christina Aguilera stated.
