Robert Pattinson is looking for a soul mate.

The British actor - who recently blasted speculation about his love life, insisting he`s single - says he`d love to find the perfect partner he can spend the rest of his life with.

He reveals, "I hope there is such a thing.

"I guess it would be quite scary to find a soul mate when you`re young because you`re probably going to mess it up."

"I remember there was a girl I was totally obsessed with for about 10 years," he adds. "I never ever spoke to her. I think that`s the best type of love.

"Then when I finally told her she was like, `You`ve never spoken to me in my whole life. You`ve only spoken to me about three times and never said anything nice`."

think you`re a great actor,i`ve watched twilight 25 times!!!! every female fan probably wishes she were right for you and i have to admit so do i and i`m not ashamed. you never know if we`ll meet, i sure hope we do someday..until the future i guess ^^

I truly agree. I think everyone wants to believe that there is someone out there meant for them and I know I do. It`s like when you`re a child you don`t realize the whole because of your parents, and so on, but now that you`re older you begin to see that there is something in your life that you need. A person that truly balances you out and completes who you are. Not that you can`t have a few arguements, but don`t all people in love buttheads sometimes?

Yes, there is everyone out their for someone, but what I say for an actor like Robert, I would think that being who he is a girl not need`s to think about the money and fame just the relationship. Honestly I am 20 and never seen or heard about a guy like Robert and probly like a million other girl/ladies out there that would die for him and I would really agree. I have truely fallen in love with the research and movies and of course picture`s. I would probly do anything just to talk to him myself and actually meet him. I honestly have shiver`s going up my spine just talking about him and I have never felt that which really don`t mean anything to anyone else.

I believe there are people out there that are meant for one person. Its like lightning that hits you and you know that its your destiny to be with that one person. But I do feel that we are not all able to find our soulmates due to the fact that most of us are at a stand still. We all don`t travel or move alot. I don`t feel you can find them in one place. Thats why many people go through life incomplete and with the wrong person.
