Stalkers seem to be growing in numbers these days. There was Kirsten Dunst`s, Jennifer Love Hewitt`s, Shawn Johnson`s, and now, former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell is being harassed by a misguided fan.

The Sun reports that Geri has upped the security at the house she shares with her two-year-old daughter Bluebell due to an alleged stalker, who constantly creeps around outside her home and calls her on the phone.

A close friend reveals, "Geri has become increasingly concerned over recent months. This individual has been loitering around her home almost continually, and it`s really upsetting and scaring her. Her burglar alarm has gone off a number of times when she`s been out, and she`s worried about her and Bluebell`s safety. The phone was ringing at all hours of the day and night so she had to get a new number."

This isn`t the first time that Geri—who broke off her quickie engagement to Italian tycoon Fabrizio Politi in March—has dealt with unwanted attention from an anonymous stranger. Last year, an unknown woman snuck her way into the Glamour Awards and was dragged away by security guards after verbally abusing the singer.
