Dane Cook Breaks His Silence About His Half-Brother

Comedian Dane Cook feels "betrayed" by his half-brother after he was charged with embezzling millions of dollars from the star.

Darryl McCauley, who worked as the funnyman`s business manager, was arrested in Massachusetts in December, accused of siphoning off funds from Cook`s fortune and forging a $3 million check to himself. He has pleaded not guilty to eight counts of larceny over $250, forgery and larceny by continuous scheme and is currently being held behind bars as he awaits a pre-trial hearing.

Breaking his silence for the first time since the incident hit the headlines last year, Cook admits he is still in disbelief about McCauley`s alleged actions - and is anxious for the case be over so he can move on with his life.

He says, "It`s a terrible betrayal. I worked with my only half brother for several years. Woke up one day and a lot of stuff was missing. There is a good chunk of money that is certainly not accounted for. That`s all I can say about it at this point. But hopefully justice will be served and I can move on with my life."
