Mariska Hargitay ‘Luckiest Person In The World’ After Surviving Lung Accident

 Mariska Hargitay is on the August issue of Redbook and opens up about her injury on the Law and Order: SVU set this past winter. After performing a stunt and landing the wrong way, Hargitay learned that 50% of her right lung collapsed.“I began to panic,” she said. “I was so scared. I had so much to lose, so much to live for ... I have so many blessings, and I’ve learned from all of my experiences and my losses. I look at all the things life has allowed me to do and I feel like the luckiest person in the world.”
