-- "A Perfect Getaway" star Steve Zahn will star in the Fox adaptation of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," by Jeff Kinney. Thor Freudenthal will direct. I don't know which half of that name I like more. (Variety) -- A few brief clips from Peter Jackson's adaptation of Alice Sebold's novel "The Lovely Bones" have hit the Internets. (Entertainment Tonight) -- Writer/director John August has picked up the rights to Steve Hely's novel, "How I Became a Famous Novelist." The story follows a guy who sets himself on a path to write a commercial novel simply so he can make a lot of money and get back at his ex-girlfriend. (Variety) -- Mysteria Film Group, LLC has optioned the right to the novel "Myst: The Book of Ti'ana," a spin-off of the popular computer game "Myst." The OLD popular computer game "Myst." This project feels like it's a dozen or so years too late. (IGN Movies) -- Disney has unveiled Digital Domain, the visual effects studio behind that kickass concept footage. And yes, they'll be delivering the coming sequel, "Tron: Legacy." -- Our first look at the Na'vi alien race in James Cameron's "Avatar" have arrived in two forms: a new poster and an image of a Na'vi action figure.
