“Dancing With The Stars” kicked off tonight on ABC at 8pm EST with its two-hour premiere. The dancing fun continues tomorrow night, continuing its three day long premiere event. The contestants for this season are as follows: Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani Mark Dacascos and Lacey Shwimmer Macy Gray and Jonathan Roberts Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas Mya and Dmitry Chaplin Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff Ashley Hamilton and Edyta Sliwinska Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough Kelly Osbourne and Louis van Amstel Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya Louie Vito and Chelsea Hightower Tonight’s show features the male dancers, while tomorrow’s show will be all of the women. Wednesday night’s show will consist of the first live results, with two contestants, one male and one female, biting the dust. Aaron Carter really tore up the dance floor tonight, dancing with Karina Smirnoff. Check out the video of his slick moves, below: The highlight of the show for me would be Mark Decascos talking about his man boobs and Chuck Liddell’s performance. People are really going wild over Donnie Osmond, though he was too theatrical, so I’m thinking that he’s going to be a favorite this season. Here is the video of Chuck’s performance with Anna Trebunskaya: Here’s Mark and Lacey doing the Cha Cha Cha: Kym Johnson and Donnie Osmond did the Fox Trot: I really liked Chelsie Hightower’s pretty pink dress and Louie Vito was cute danced well for his first time on stage. I would totally vote for the little dancing hobbit. They need to keep Michael Irvin on the show just because this guy has a funny sense of humor. It makes for good entertainment TV. He looked like he was having a blast, dancing his butt off. The judges were way too hard on them for their first time out. As far as the relay dances go, Donnie Osmond took the ten points, with Louie Vito in second place with eight points. Tom DeLay took six points and Ashley Hamilton brought up the rear with four points. In the ballroom dance relays, the judges really liked Aaron Carter, who they gave ten points to. In second place, was Mark Demascas, who received eight points. Third place went to Michael Irvine, who received six points. Lastly, Tom DeLay got four points for his performance. I was robbed, I really was hoping that Tom would bite it. And I am forever scarred by his “Wild Thing” performance. Who are you rooting for? [Click thumbnails for a larger view]
