 Amerie works it out in super thigh-high boots and a fur vest in Manhattan on Tuesday (November 4). The 31-year-old Grammy nominee sat down with The Urban Daily to talk about her new album, In Love & War, in stores NOW! (Make sure you download “Swag Back.” Obsessed!!!) “The album, for the most part, is about the hard times of relationships,” Amerie said. “There’s no song that idealizes love…it’s more of a realistic portrayal of being with someone other than yourself.” As for whether she thinks all is fair in love and war, “I think so!” Amerie shared. “Human nature is human nature and the heart wants what the heart wants.
