Def Leppard postpones Canadian tour dates due to Illness

Def Leppard has announced that due to an upper respiratory tract infection affecting the band`s lead singer Joe Elliott, and Guitar player Phil Collen the band will be postponing thire upcoming Canadian tour dates. The band`s tour,which was arranged in support of thire new album relase,kicked off earlier this month. Elliott,Collen have been suffering with a upper respiratory tract infection for the past two days and has been adviced by doctors that they need rest
"I am disappointed that we can`t perform the shows in Canada," Said Joe Elliott."The band and I really look forward to comming back to play soon." Phil Collen also had this to say."Joe (Elliott - vocals) and I came down with a virus - they thought it was pneumonia, but it`s not. But we both have lost our voices and there was just no way to do the shows. We are currently holed up in Quebec City."

Collen also added that drummer Rick Allen threw out his back today and he`s also laid up.

The following dates are postponed.
