Meet New Gossip Girl Lydia Hearst

 April 23, 2008Looks like there is yet another new girl in town on the set of Gossip Girl. In addition to actress Michelle Trachtenberg, who makes her GG debut on next week’s episode, one of Michelle`s very good friends, socialite/model/bag designer Lydia Hearst, will also be joining the cast for the season finale. “I play Amelia, an interior decorator,” Lydia, gorgeous as always in a Marchesa dress, told OK! at A Night of a Thousand Lights event benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. “It’s exciting, and I will say that I have a moment with [co-star Ed Westick`s character] Chuck Bass.” And though the Gossip Girl set has no shortage of male hotties, including Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and Ed, the blonde beauty admitted her favorite is the rocker dad played by Matthew Settle.
