"It`s been six months, but we`ll be newlyweds two years from now," Montel told PEOPLE Monday night at the Tribeca Film Festival`s premiere of War, Inc. "That`s what I think. That`s how I feel." The secret to their domestic bliss? Heating things up – in the kitchen. "We like to cook together," said Montel. "Sometimes we do lamb chops. Tonight we made steak and french fries." "Or-Ida [fries]," clarified Tara, lest you get too impressed. And the happy couple realizes they don`t have to share all their activities. "I play a lot of poker online, while she`s laying on the bed watching TV," said Montell. "He loves his poker!" agreed Tara, a former American Airlines flight attendant. "He had full reign of the computer." After 17 years on the air, his CBS talk show will cease production in May. And Montel, 51 – who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis five years ago – is already looking forward to future projects. "I`ve got so many irons in the fire," he said. "In the next couple weeks, I`ll probably have some big announcements to make."
