"Tracey Edmonds never uttered the words quoted in the [tabloid]," her rep tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "The story is a complete fabrication.” A British paper reported that Edmonds, 41, called Diddy "the man for me" and said that he was funnier then her ex, comedian Eddie Murphy. The report, which was widely picked up on the Internet, went on to claim that Edmonds said Diddy "whisked me off my feet." Reps for Edmonds and Diddy both deny that the pair are romantically linked. "Sean is very single," the rep for Diddy says. "He and Tracy have known each other for over 10 years." Edmonds, who produced the 2001 movie Josie and the Pussycats, split from Murphy, 47, in January only two weeks after they held an intimate wedding in Bora Bora. The ceremony was non-binding and they later said they`d decided to "forego having a legal ceremony."
