Sibghatullah Mojaddedi or Hazrat Sahib (Pashto صبغت الله مجددي, born c. 1926), served as President of the Islamic State of Afghanistan after the fall of Mohammad Najibullah's government in April 1992. He is also the founder of the Afghan National Liberation Front. In December 2003, he served as the chairman of the Loya Jirga that approved Afghanistan's new constitution. In 2005 he was appointed chairman of the Meshrano Jirga, upper house of the National Assembly of Afghanistan, and was reappointed as a member in 2011. He also serves on the Afghan High Peace Council.
Shah Abdul Ahad Afzali was the Governor of Ghor Province in Afghanistan from 2005 to 2007, being the third governor after the fall of the Taliban government. He was born in Badakhshan city of Daraim in the northern Afghanistan and he emigrated with many his companions to neighbourhood country Tajikistan in 1994 until 2003. he was the most active man in Tajikistan who created many schools and other opportunities for Afghan children and youths.

Sayed Ishaq Gailani is a national politician in Afghanistan. He is the founder and chairman of the National Solidarity Movement of Afghanistan. He was the first announced presidential candidate for the 2004 Afghan general election. He claims leadership of the Gailani family, leaders of the Qadiriyah sect of Sufism, but is estranged from his family.
