Damon Wayans once said that this show was inspired by "The Cosby Show" (1984). Jazz Raycole, who originally played `Claire Kyle`, was pulled from the show by her mother who disapproved of a storyline that started off season two. # The Season 5 finale, "The `V` Story", ended with an intense cliffhanger, but was not intended to be the final episode. However, the show`s cancellation was announced the day before the episode`s premiere, and this came to be the series finale. `Tisha Campbell` is only 13 years older than her on-screen son George Gore II.
