Trivia and QuotesTrivia The film that Annette Kellerman is making when she has an accident is titled Neptune`s Daughter (1914). In 1949, Esther Williams would make a film with the same title. Esther Williams broke her neck diving off a 50-foot tower during the sequence in which she wears a golden swimming costume. She spent six months in a body cast before recovering to complete the film. Considered by many to be one of the best examples of Technicolor cinematography.
