On the wall of Bobby`s room a poster for the movie The Lost Boys (1987) can be seen. Corey Feldman and Corey Haim both starred in "The Lost Boys".

One of five body-swap movies all released around the same time. The others were Like Father Like Son (1987), 18 Again! (1988), Big (1988), and Vice Versa (1988).

Original Working Title: "Long Before Tomorrow".

Four days before filming, Corey Haim broke his leg and Dinger`s character had to be rewritten to include the injury. While his actual cast was removed during filming, he had to wear a fake one for the remainder of the production. In the movie Dinger says that his mother hit him with her car. In real life, Haim broke his leg while trying to teach his mom how to drive a motorbike. She couldn`t use the breaks well yet and ran into the side of a building, breaking her nose and Corey`s leg.
