No, she simply followed her brother, Michael, because they were so close as children. She became rich and famous that elevated the use of drugs because of endless income and availability. With a rich sister, it wasn't required for him to become independent.

Other names "big buddy?" "jojo"? Janet's nickname was "dunk". How can "jo" be her maiden name when her last name is Jackson? She isn't even married at the moment, and Jo is part of her middle name (Damita Jo). This needs to be fixed.

You were on the right on magazines pregnant, and you were on fame and had to leave the show , because you preganant , be proud of your daughter. These girls trying to be your friend just to get to him its annoying. So i try to get away from all that. thirdly, why did you all not allow your brother to love. every man and woman deserves love. not all woman including this one are bad. Janet Damita Jo Jackson (born May 16, 1966) is an American recording artist and actress. Known for a series of sonically innovative, socially conscious and sexually provocative records, as well as elaborate stage shows, television and film roles, she has been a prominent figure in popular culture since the early 1970s. The youngest child of the Jackson family, she began her career appearing on the variety television series The Jacksons in 1976 and went on to appear on other television shows throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, including Good Times and Fame.
