I met Davy Jones and he is so nice we took Pictures and he gave me his autograph in he talk and gave me akiss on the cheek that was a great day love davyjones.

You know...I met David at a private BBQ a couple years ago in Florida. He is a friend of a good friend of mine (via the horse world). He was sweet, funny and friendly. He spent a lot of time talking with our teenage kids and us. He sang the Penguin song right to me...I was impressed with how nice he was. I even got to mix a drink for him! To anyone saying he is rude, remember, when you met him...did he just finish a 2 hour show? Wonder how much traveling he did to get to that show? How many autographs did he sign before you? People are so pushy when they meet a celebrity, they get this perverse sense of ownership...cut the guy a break, he tours constantly and gives his all each show. I found him to be totally down to earth and a super nice guy.

I saw Davy Jones last night in Michigan. He was gracious, and stayed until everyone who wanted to, got to meet him and get autograph. He played a long show, and has seemed to ave realized how important his fans are.

I have to agree with Vee. I met Davy in Louisianna during the Teen Idol Tour, and he is not friendly. I did get a picture with him, but he was far from gracious about it.

I ,too, was crazy for Davy Jones! I had the chance to meet him in St. Louis Mo. several years back at Union Station. There was a small concert and he gave autographs after. To my surprise, he wasnt the fun loving person you see on TV, actually he was quite rude to the fans. I did get an autograph but was very disappointed

David is one of the most talented entertainers I know. He can get a crowd going with just one song and he has so much energy for his shows - it`s awesome! I can say I didn`t walk away disappointed when I finally got to see a solo show of his. Can`t wait to see him again someday! The man puts on one great show! Monkee Fan Forever!

Biography
David Thomas "Davy" Jones (30 December 1945 – 29 February 2012) was an English recording artist, actor and businessman, best known as a member of the rock band the Monkees and star of the TV series of the same name. His acting credits include a Tony-nominated role as the Artful Dodger in Oliver! as well as roles in The Brady Bunch film and television show; Love, American Style; and My Two Dads. Jones is considered to be one of the greatest teen idols of all time.
