How come the biography doesn`t mention how poor his family was and how they even had to live in tents while their father worked as a caretaker h for different churches? They always want to make people like they are not. Jim Carrey came from nothing and acheived so much. He should be proud of himself. No one should ever try to gloss over someone else`s past because it looks better in print! Look it up! The bio makes it seem like he had the most wonderful upbringing. he was hungry a lot as a kid. He is a real live human being with a real past, do him the honor of getting it right!

Jim Carrey you are a great actor. I just finished watching Dr. Seuses` How the Grinch Stole Christmas and You are GREAT!!!!! Fantastic!!!!! Of course I have seen you in your other films and you are GREAT in all of your movies however I loved the Grinch the best. You put your heart and soul in everything you do. Thank You.

Biography
James Eugene "Jim" Carrey (born January 17, 1962) is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, singer and writer. He has received two Golden Globe Awards and has also been nominated on four occasions. Carrey began stand-up comedy in 1979, performing at Yuk Yuk's in Toronto, Ontario. After gaining prominence in 1981, he began working at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles where he was soon noticed by comedian Rodney Dangerfield, who immediately signed him to open his tour performances. Carrey, long interested in film and television, developed a close friendship with comedian Damon Wayans, which landed him a role in the sketch comedy hit In Living Color, in which he portrayed various characters during the show's 1990 season.
