It says under her other profile Eddie Sedgwick that she is 5ft7inc.She had to be at least that height-look at the length of her legs!She was tall-loads of people have said so.

No she wasn`t tall at all. She was 5`4. I read the book Edie Sedgwick Girl on Fire and have seen Ciao! Manhattan, and she is not tall.

She had to be more than 5ft 4inches-she was quite tall-maybe 5ft 8 inches.Also she wasn`t a Protestant-she had no religion.

what happened to my pic?I was working at a bev. hills rehab and in rolls this chick named valeri kendall van halen.it was the early 80s.i thought i saw an aberation.she at that time was the incarnation of Edie!same eyes,legs,everything.they even had the same demons.

I watched the movie Factory Girl and have been obsessed with Edie ever since...I think this was a great loss to the world of modeling. Edie was a person with a beautiful spirit. She was a real person and that is what makes a person beautiful...

She was hauntingly beautiful, and in a sense ethereal. She was abused though, as a child and i think that cause her downward spiral later on in life. What a shame, she is sorely missed.

Are you guys really that silly? Of course she was beautiful - played by Sienna - who wouldn´t. But she was a big girl - an adult and as such - responsible for her actions... If she chose that kind of life - it was HER own choice and blaming Andy is just stupid... Just because director made him looking like a user doesn´t mean he was... We could as well watch a movie about Andy and cry how lonely and poor he was and blame somebody else for that... As I said - everyone is responsible for their decisions. And one more thing - movies are just that - MOVIES made by someone with their own opinion or intention... life is LIFE... got the point?

I really feel that Andy used her. We have lost so many talented people way too soon.She really exposed Andy`s art to the Manhattan elite crowd, some thing he was unable to do on his own.

Edith Minturn "Edie" Sedgwick (April 20, 1943 – November 16, 1971) was an American actress, socialite, model and heiress. She is best known for being one of Andy Warhol's superstars. Sedgwick became known as "The Girl of the Year" in 1965 after starring in several of Warhol's short films, in the 1960s. Dubbed an "It Girl", Vogue magazine also named her a "Youthquaker".
