Absolutely loved you in Sweet Home Alabama and your most recent movie Red Dog which was of course filmed in Dampier, my home town. You actually met a few of my girlfriends at the Dampier Mermaid pub one night and they loved you, said you were very down to earth and kind, a true country boy. We actually meet him last week on the coast of California. We stopped at little place on the coast to have lunch and he walked in. We spoke briefly in the parking lot and he could not have been more poliet or humble. He is just as handsome as he is in the movies.

BJ ~ Paul Newman had a son. His name was Scott and he was born in 1950. Tragically, he died of an accidental drug overdose in Nov. 1978. I do agree with you though, that Josh could have been Paul Newman`s son. Debonair, handsome..and very yummy!!

Hey, ppl...Forgive me. I love you all for loving Josh--I love him too...but isn`t it a little silly to go on about his dates/romances? I think he would find it rather ridiculous. I`m trying to find out more about the important things that he does in his life, and try to do the same in mine, with him as an example. I`d like to date the man, too, and his talent and spirit are indeed beautiful...I just think he`d appreciate all of you more, if you worried about bettering your own lives and finding better things to do with your time. Mr. Lucas, Do you write? As I am familiar with your work as an actor, your ability to make these people believable, stands to reason that in there is a masterpiece. Maybe someone from history. Josh, we gotta talk. I think you are gorgeous and all that, but please, you`ve got to give Rachel away. You`ve got some tough comparisons by the public with Ryan, and well, I saw your rain scene with Reese in SHA, and there really is no way to complete with the one in the Notebook. Sorry, but that image of Rachel with Ryan...unforgetable. Wanted to let you know. But otherwise, you`re a great guy.

Ah, I just saw the Notebook and all the deleted steamy love scenes, read all the Rachel/Ryan stuff (didn`t know who she was before this) and I`m not one who follows the famous people`s lives, but I`ve gotta say, ah Rachel is really missing out on true love with Ryan. Josh is truly a beautiful gentleman and from what I have read about his support to causes etc it seems he is beautiful inside not just out. Sweet home Alabama is just one of my favourite movies he has starred in, those eyes and smile alone could make u fall in love with him right then and there. All the best wishes love x

I think some of the info is alittle off here. According to an interview Josh did right after Sweet Home and before Hulk, he mentioned Alexa comparing kissing Reese. I think he was dating Alexa before his big fame hit with Sweet Home. Guess only Josh really knows! I wonder what he is like in person, because he sure was hot in Sweet Home Alabama!!!

Celebrity dating for Josh Lucas (Maurer) looks to be no Glory Road for this gorgeous man. Better resembles a joyride on the Posiden. Maybe some Sweet Home southern comfort would be a better suit.
