Biography
Chris Terrio (born on December 31, 1976) an Academy Award winning American film director and writer based in New York City. He won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay on February 24, 2013, for his screenplay for Argo—which was directed by Ben Affleck, and released by Warner Bros. Pictures. On February 17, 2013, Terrio also won the Writers Guild Award for Best Adapted Screenplay of 2012. At the 70th Golden Globe Awards he was nominated for Best Screenplay. The Argo script also brought him a BAFTA nomination and the 2013 Los Angeles Film Critics Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
