Biography
Terence Winter (born in Brooklyn, New York) is an Emmy Award-winning American writer and producer of television and film. He is the creator, writer, and executive producer of the HBO television series Boardwalk Empire. On September 19, 2010, Boardwalk Empire 's premiere episode gained HBO's highest ratings for any premiere since 2004's Deadwood and less than two days later the series was renewed for a second season. Before creating Boardwalk Empire, Terence was a writer and executive producer for the HBO television series The Sopranos.
