I`m aggressive on bases and I will continue to be aggressive. When you`re running the bases aggressively, sometimes you`re going to make mistakes. Sometimes you`re going to make great plays. Unfortunately in the last week, I`ve been (making) mistakes.

I hate losing games. I`m not a loser. It`s hard for me to be on a team losing every day. That`s not me. That`s not the type of player that I am. I love winning.

I`ve been a very aggressive hitter all my career,

I`ve been doing this for 13 years with my foundation, ... I play here in Detroit, and I think it`s a good time to start.

I don`t know what happened on that play,

I feel like I can steal 10 bases in September. That`s how good I feel.

It`s frustrating, very frustrating,

Things like that don`t happen to me too often. It`s been a long time since I made two mistakes in less than a week. But when things aren`t going well with a ballclub, anything can happen. We`re going through that right now.

My goal is to stay healthy and keep on playing baseball as long as I can. I don`t play it for the money. I play it because I love the game.

It`s not the year that you would expect to see, ... but if you see my numbers, it`s not bad after what I`ve been through all year.
