Anthony Kiedis and Heather Christie

What they see in each other?
Since 2004 Kiedis has been in an on again off again relationship with Heather "Nika" Christie. They started dating when she was 18 and he was 41. With him being a wildly successful rock star and her being an attractive up-and-coming young model it seemed the perfect match.

Anthony Kiedis met Heather Christie at a rooftop party in Hollywood. Kiedis says what attracted him to Christie was her smile. He told Blender magazine,Feb/March 2007 issue, “I saw this beautiful face smiling throughout the night.” Christie at the time had a boyfriend but eventually they met up for their first date, a tour of her hometown Simi Valley. Kiedis says of the relationship, “On paper there was no reason whatsoever we should have gotten along but when I hung out with her, I didn’t want to hang out with anybody else.”

Is it true love?
Maybe. It`s been only recently that Kiedis has realised his love for Christie — there was a stage where he devalued their relationship by allegedly hooking up with model Jessica Stam. After a bit of cavorting about with the Canuck model he decided he liked Christie more. He attributed his poor judgement to his character flaws, primarily, "the feeling of wanting things you don`t have." So rather than juggling a gaggle of post-pubescent models, Kiedis decided to stick with one post-teen fashion queen.
