Toni Braxton: Separates From Husband, Keri Lewis
Last week, multi-platinum singer Toni Braxton made it quite evident that she wanted to be back on the market.
The former `Dancing With The Stars` contestant gave a rather enticing performance of her new single, `Yesterday,` at a taping of the 2009 Soul Train Awards, which featured her sharing a kiss with singer Trey Songz.
As if that wasn`t convincing enough, Toni Braxton Essence.com has reported that Braxton and former Mint Condition member-husband, Keri Lewis, has finally called it quits after eight years of marriage.
Ironically enough, the two were seen together at last Tuesday`s Soul Train Awards taping.
Braxton was married to Keri Lewis, a former member of the R&B band Mint Condition. Braxton and Lewis are the parents of two sons, Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis and Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis. The younger child, Diezel, has been diagnosed with autism. As a result of Diezel's diagnosis, Braxton has become very involved with Autism Speaks, serving as their International Spokesperson. In November 2009, through her attorney Antavius Weems, Braxton announced that she and her husband had separated.
