On June 9, 1997, Mann married producer Judd Apatow, with whom she has two daughters, Iris and Maude. The family currently lives in Los Angeles.
In 1995, Mann auditioned for Ben Stiller's The Cable Guy (1996). Stiller needed a stand in for Jim Carrey during film auditions and the job fell to writer/producer Apatow, who read with all actresses including Mann. The reading was the couple's first meeting.
