Yohanna was Anthony`s soulmate, it was love at first sight. First their relationship was long-distance, since she lived in New York and him in Los Angeles. Even though Yohanna was addicted to cocaine Anthony decided to love her, and eventually she got clean without him knowing it. He financed her studies at New York Fashion Institute and helped her set up her own label called Shawn.
There were a lot of tensions because he was always taking care of her and she was often uncomfortable with that. Also the fact that Anthony was touring in Europe and she was alone in LA - a strange city - was hard. They broke up in 1999 but got back together. In 2000 they had the worst idea ever: they decided to get high together. As a consequence Anthony fell back into drug addiction for months.
After that they worked hard on their relationship and even got into therapy. Eventually they broke up because he wanted to start a family and she was still working on her career. In 2002 they decided to stay close friends.
In that same year Anthony started dating supermodel Heidi Klum. Their relationship ended within the same year because of pictures in the newspapers of Anthony and Yohanna kissing.
