I am a great fan and admirer of Sally Field, I think she is a lovely woman, and has a lovely personality, and a wonderful actress. In fact she looks and reminds me of a dear friend from school in Limerick Ireland, a long time ago. whos name is Mary. I wish her all the best and keep acting Sally. sally i knew you when when you where little, i am 19 yrs younger than you, my mother died in 1962 and i was raised by my father relative i live in jackson mo, i am 56 years old if you could contact me i know will know me, i had a pug dog when i lived with my mother. and my cousin that was older than me.

I would like to have Sally Field know that when she did Sybil, she was spectacular. I had a dog at the time who NEVER paid attention to the television. When Sybil was crying, he raced around the tv trying to find/help the sound he believe to be real. Pat

In each decade of her career, she has been known for her leading American TV and film roles, most notably in Gidget (1965–66), The Flying Nun (1967–70), Sybil (1976), Smokey and the Bandit (1977), Norma Rae (1979), Absence of Malice (1981), Places in the Heart (1984), Steel Magnolias (1989), Not Without My Daughter (1991), Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), Forrest Gump (1994) Eye for an Eye (1996), ER, Brothers & Sisters (2006–11), The Amazing Spider-Man and Lincoln (2012).
