Her debut studio album, The Lion and the Cobra, was released in 1987 and achieved international chart success. Her 1990 album, I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got, was her biggest commercial success, selling over seven million copies worldwide. Its lead single, "Nothing Compares 2 U", was honoured as the top world single of the year at the Billboard Music Awards.

Hello folks-I`m a longtime fan of the gifted and gorgeous Sinead O`Connor.I know quite a bit about her,and I`ve never heard of her dating JFK JR.,or Prince.She recorded and made a hit of Prince`s song,"Nothing Compares to You".One of her famous stories is about Sinead meeting Prince,and his ideas about having a fling with her.She told him to go f himself,and laughs when she tells that story.Need to delete Prince from this list.Get up to date with Sinead-she has a new cd and is on a world tour.
