Tanya you have been my favorites since I first saw you on Buck Owens show..and you sang your hit Delta Dawn... I have always been a fan... I waited out back in front of your bus "Delta Dawn" after your concert in San Carlos Ca (the stage rotated). You went in the bus and a security person took my paper and you gave me your autograph I later found out you approx 3 mo pregnaut w/your 2nd child.....unfortunitly my husband and i moved and the moving company lost a couple of boxes and one of them had your autograph my with Tammy Wynette.... my heart was broken... love you Tanya

I bought a collection of many artists` CD of Christmas songs, Now That`s What I Call a Country Christmas, and Tanya sings What Child is This? on disc 2. It`s the most beautiful version of that song I`ve ever heard. Thanks Tanya.

I think she is the best of the best. Have seen her in concert many times, and she was ALWAYS GREAT. I was fortunate to have met her on her boat Delta Dawn years ago when she was in Ft Lauderdale, FL. She is an inspiring artist, and will always hold a spot in my heart. I just hope she will continue onward for many years to come.

Tanya, my wife and I met you and your Aunt in 1973/74 at the Silver Spur in Morgan Hill CA. We sat in the Restuarant and talked before your act and I walked you thru the bar and tpo the stage. Still have the autographed album Delta Dawn.. You`re still a favorite. Best of Luck Fredrick

Tanya, you have always been one of my favorite female artists. You have a one of a kind voice. I say you at Billy Bob`s twice. Their sound system leaves a lot to be desired, but you sounded great. You didn`t need a band or back up singers. I couldn`t say that for any of the others that I`ve heard there, and I`ve heard some very famous and great artists perform there. She also was friends with Mac Davis, and it was Glen Campbell that left his wife (well, he cheated with Tanya first, then left her), but shortly after that Tanya and Glen broke up because of their physical fighting.

She did not date Merle haggard nor Geoff Bodine, as she is great friends with both. Ben Reed is a handsome actor who fathered two of Tanya`s three children. They had an on again off again relationship from the late eighties to the mid nineties. Presley and Beau Grayson are his children and Layla is Jerry`s. For the record, she and glen were NEVER married, nor has Tanya EVER been married, and most likely never will be.

Tanya Denise Tucker (born 10 October 1958, in Seminole, Texas) is a female American country music artist who had her first hit, "Delta Dawn", in 1972 at the age of 13. Over the succeeding decades, Tucker became one of the few child performers to mature into adulthood without losing her audience, and during the course of her career, she notched a streak of Top 10 and Top 40 hits. She has had several successful albums, several Country Music Association award nominations, and hit songs such as 1973's "What's Your Mama's Name?" and "Blood Red and Goin' Down," 1975's "Lizzie and the Rainman," and 1988's "Strong Enough to Bend".
