The recent death of Marie Glory is like a painful farewell to the pinnacle (20s-30s) and most inventive era of French filmmaking; she was also one of the last surviving actresses to have made a pivotal contribution to both, silent films and the early development of talkies.

I absolutely loved Marie Glory`s performance in L`Herbier`s French Impressionists masterpiece, L`Argent (1928) --- thought you indubitably outshined Brigitte Helm.
