Robert "Bob" Homme, CM (March 8, 1919 in Stoughton, Wisconsin – May 2, 2000) was an American-born television actor, best known as the host of The Friendly Giant, a popular Canadian children's television program from the 1950s through the 1980s, which was broadcast on CBC Television.
