englebert, friends know him as enge, pronounced 'ang.' he is a real gentleman and old fashioned kind of guy. he used to like to drink b52s and bangers and play darts before and after each of his shows. and he used to have an alter set up back stage to say his prayers before a show and my friend was invited to pray with him. he used to call her his little sunday school teacher.

Englebert has one of the most wonderful voices in the world. I`ve been a hug fan of his since I can remember my mom playing his songs when I was little. I`m now 48 and still love to hear him sing. I sing right along with him and have his pictures in a special folder on my computer.
