i am reading your book, light my fire , as i have tried to find everything on the doors, hoping for the facts. i have to agree 100 on your opinion of oliver stone. i have read a lot on the doors and i have seen the doors film. stone is a utter buffoon!!!he is notorius for changing things sooooo much.i just dont get it.that is why you should always read the book (or books in this case) before you see the film to see how much the director f`s it up!!! sometimes they get it pretty close and do a pretty good job, but not in this case. how hard would it be to make an accurate bio-pic,with all the great directors out there? i could see maybe cameron crowe,considering his experience in the music biz,and being married to nancy wilson and all!!! i know you`ll never see this,of course.i`m just venting!!!after jim, you are the coolest door!!!

Raymond Daniel Manzarek, Jr., better known as Ray Manzarek (born February 12, 1939), is an American musician, singer, producer, film director, writer, co-founder and keyboardist of The Doors from 1965 to 1973, and The Doors of the 21st Century (renamed Manzarek-Krieger) since 2001. He is the oldest former member of the Doors.
