Michael Lowry (born March 20, 1968, in Staten Island, New York) is an American actor best known for his role as Jake Martin on All My Children from 1996 to 2000. He has also appeared in the soap opera As the World Turns as Les Sweeney in 2004 and 2005. He also made guest-starring appearances in prime time shows Las Vegas, The Drew Carey Show, Diagnosis: Murder, the memorable cross-over CSI-written 'whodunnit' episode of Two and a Half Men where he played the "Grissom" character and interrogated all of the stars of the sitcom. In Season 5 of The King of Queens he and Marcia Cross ("Desperate Housewives") recurred as Doug and Carrie's yuppie neighbors. Returning to soap operas in 2009, he appeared as Ross Rayburn on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. In July 2010, the role of Ross Rayburn was recast when Lowry took time off from acting to attend UCLA School of Law. Coincidentally, just prior to entering school he guest-starred as defense attorney in one of the last episodes of the original "Law & Order."
