Am a real Roy Marsden groupie. Have just finished watching all the old Sandbagger series once again. Also wish he was better known in the US and that we have more opportunities to see his work

was in a Schweppes ad in1967. Roy was the man in the deckchair swept up into the air by a plane off the beach just as he opened his ``ssssshweppes``!

I have just watched everything Roy Marsden has available that I can find. Excellent actor 0 super stories; what a shame United States audiences haven`t honored him - I`d like to see more and more and more

Roy Marsden (born on 25 June 1941 in Stepney, London) is an English actor, who is probably best known for his portrayal of Adam Dalgliesh in the Anglia Television dramatisations of P.D. James's detective novels.
