hes an odd lad strange mystical and out of this world with talent but hey hes changed rock and roll forever and wel the ol boy kicks it as always born and bred for this new dark age of sex drugs and rock and roll and in my opinion the best rock has to offer,never to be matched and never to be out done simple as that and yes he is the crowned KING OF ROCK!!

On Robert's website there is an article that says, "The recently-married Plant and Griffin were scheduled to appear at both nights of the show staged for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians medical assistance program, which included Griffin’s longtime friend Michael Fracasso.
Both husband and wife performed each of their own songs and several covers of Led Zeppelin’s hits, including the band’s “Band of Joy” record which first brought them together."

I think you guys think so too are offending Patty, thinking that both are shaped so there is no passion or love, but two old and useless people who will join a caring for the "diabetes" on the other and give the medicine at the right time ! Anyway nobody really knows neither Patty nor "this young girl" to say which of the two has more character or not, we will wait and see if this girl exists or not and if she is a nice person, she can be truly in love with Robert and maybe he loves more than the patty, let's give this girl an opportunity to show to the world and knows it better because patty was once young too, and also Robert, and this girl will grow old one day too, and they all deserve respect!

Wow what cruelty!! How is that a person can judge another person so badly that not even know, just because she is younger, so you guys are offending Robert himself, he is a very intelligent man and still very beautiful too (a man crown charming and beautiful) even with your wrinkles, it is still very sweet and funny, and I think young girls can also have noble feelings, Patty is above suspicion just because this old and not have sexappil?

Griffin HAS admitted that they aren't married. Scaffycatamos didn't believe it when RP was spotted in Brazil 3 months back, and with a woman. Now he is touring there, (sans Griffin it seems) He sings that he's got a girlfriend in Whole Lotta Love now too, and he's her daddy. Okay, I guess! Apparently she is very tall too. There was always a rumor of an old love whom was a model. Hence, I have been off this board for quite awhile, due to the same poster who posts as different personalities, from Patty Griffin's fan club!

I agree with SeriouslyAgain...WE REALLY don't know what goes on between them, we can only guess...I have fun commenting and reading these post since it's not fact's... just our own surmise. I believe that Robert really fell in love with Allison Krauss and Patti is a band aid. Or maybe she likes older men. From some post on other sites, people say she's a better singer than he and should let her take the lead, and Robert just do the back up. Maybe that's why she's with him, promote herself. Not saying this is true...just having fun feeding the gossip. ;)

Have a friend in Austin whom works at upscale restaurant that serves seafood. He didn't serve them, but the tables adjacent, and apparently there were heated words btwn the two recently.
Plant left her in the restaurant at the end of the night is what i hear. Disagree with last poster that he's "happy". They said its more like "he's done" with her...

Actually, from a highly reliable source, there has always been another woman that Robert has been in love with. He and she met the night before the BofJ Tour even began. To date, Patty Griffin has successfully kept Robert and this lady apart. It was love at first sight for both and not w/ Patty. He was singing to this lady as late as September 30, 2011, since she was in the audience, causing yet another fight w/ Patty. Sometimes things are not exactly as they appear, but love always wins in the end. Btw, Pamela and Robert never were a couple, but are still very good friends.

Robert's eyes are blue, not brown. He never had a love relationship with Janis Joplin, but they were friends. Janis was protective to him, she used to give him advice about singing and how to take care of his voice and his health while on tour in the USA. She must have seen him as a younger brother. He called her his "fairy godmother" in an interview.

Robert was stunning when he was young. I love his hair, his style and his performance on stage during his time with Led Zeppelin. Nothing compares to him!!! He is wonderful!

Alison Krauss was then, what a couple years past now? Ant the lovely new miss in his Band of Joy is just that a member of the band. I have read some personal insights into Mr Plant that lead me to my comments today. I'm sure he does need the escorts at the various functions, but he is doing well to follow his instinct and heart right now and focus on the needs of his inner 'self' and then he will perhaps find the one woman whom he knows is out there awaiting him and he will be able to give of himeslf and his love completely. I believe that Robert is quite content in his current state of aloneness. He is busy with his tours, and enjoys his solitude when he can. He asks if anyone remembers laughter, so he must not find too much of it now. He is still a soul who searches for something he knows not of, he just feels the pull, the emptiness, and he remembers the laughter. Yes Robert, there was laughter long long ago in the ages you think of.
