Biography
Anthony Murphy is an Argentinian born English painter and former actor. He was born in Buenos Aires in 1956. Murphy is known primarily for his role in the 1971 British Emmy Award-winning television miniseries, "Tom Brown's Schooldays". At sixteen he won an Emmy Award for Best Lead Actor in a Miniseries for his role as Tom Brown. Despite the critical acclaim, he never again worked as an actor.
