Zebra, we think that in this world, where all the girls (mainly) want to grow and at 13 they seem to be 20 or more... is it good that someone sings "don't grow up"... they have all the time in their life for being adults and have to worry about things... now that they are still child they have to be happy and carefree. We think this is a positive message.

I just wanted to say that I don't have any respect for Avril Lavigne as a human being at all because she called Lindsay Lohan a fake and a loser to her face for no reason, and that was very rude and immature of her to say that. I agree with everybody in here who said that Avril needs to do the world a favor and drop dead because she isn't a, "tough chick" like she claims she is because she was busy crying in her, "Wish You Were Here" music video. I already know that Avril isn't creative when it comes to her own music because she always writes about broken relationships, fakes her way on playing the guitar by playing only a few chords on it, plagiarizes perfectly good music from other bands and other music artists in the music industry, and sings out of tune. She isn't a, "skate chick" like she claims to be when she was in High School either because she doesn't know how to ollie and she doesn't know how to do any tricks on a skateboard. End of story.

I just wanted to say that I also agree with everybody in here who said that Avril Lavigne doesn't have any creativity when it comes to her own music because she sings out of tune, fakes her way on playing the guitar by playing only a few chords on it, and always writes about broken relationships. I'm so glad that Avril isn't married to Deryck Whibley (lead guitarist and lead singer from the Rock band, Sum 41) anymore because she doesn't deserve to be married to him at all. I already know that she didn't grow up listening to Punk/Rock or Rock music while she was living in Canada, she grew up listening to Country music. She wasn't famous for being, "The Princess Of Mall Punk", she was famous for her first hit single, "Complicated" (off of her, "Let Go" album". She isn't a "tough chick" like she claims she is, she is nothing but an annoying and an immature manufactured product of the music industry who sings and writes "poser Punk" music. End of story.

Her cover of "Bad Reputation is fantastic and rock music does suit her singing voice. Have you ever heard her covers of "Basket Case" or "Fuel"? Not all of her songs are Popsongs, some of them like "Losing Grip" or "Unwanted" are Rocksongs. She is not a product of the music industrie, she is just beeing herself and blonde is her real hair color.

Avril Ramona Lavigne (AV-ril lə-VEEN; born 27 September 1984) is a Canadian singer-songwriter. She was born in Belleville, Ontario, but spent most of her youth in the small town of Napanee. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain; by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records worth more than $2 million. In 2002, when she was 17 years old, Lavigne broke onto the music scene with her debut album Let Go.
