Joshua Adam "Josh" Klinghoffer (born October 3, 1979) is an American multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He is best known as the current guitarist for the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, with whom he officially joined in 2009 replacing John Frusciante, his longtime friend and with whom he frequently collaborated and toured with.
