Christopher L. Moore, better known by his stage name Lil Twist, is an American rapper from Oak Cliff, Texas. He is signed to Lil Wayne`s label Young Money Entertainment, and his debut album is set to be released sometime in 2010. Moore was born to parents Rhonda Moore and Stephen L. Gray in the Oak Cliff community of Dallas, Texas. He has one sister named Crystal McGriff. Moore said that he attended Kennemer Middle School in Duncanville, Texas. Beginning at age ten, Twist gained fame in Dallas, and gained notoriety with a local single called "Texas Twist". He was discovered by Lil Wayne after he opened up for him during a local concert. Wayne then brought Twist with him to a studio in Atlanta to freestyle, and was impressed with him, signing him to his Young Money Entertainment Label. From 2008-2009, Twist toured with Wayne`s Young Money Entertainment and recorded two mixtapes, The Yearbook and Class President, and began recording for his debut album, Don`t Get It Twisted. He was officially signed to Young Money on May 21, 2010, with a reported 1.3 million dollar signing bonus.
Twist is scheduled to appear on Lil Wayne`s Tha Carter IV ,as well as working on his debut album, tentatively titled, Don`t Get It Twisted, set for a late 2010 release with collaborations from Young Money`s Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Drake, as well as Justin Bieber and Sean Kingston. "Love Affair" is set to be released soon, and the music video is in post production. He also has an upcoming mixtape titled Open Mind. A track was released off of the mixtape called "Untitled". Lil Twist also made a cameo appearance in the movie Lottery Ticket as a Kid in The Neighborhood, with his Cash Money Records member Bow Wow.
