Tracy Lee Claeys (born December 25, 1968) is an American football coach. He is the linebackers coach at Virginia Tech, a position he has held since 2020. Claeys served as the head football coach at University of Minnesota from midway into the 2015 season thru the end of the 2016 season. Claeys served as an assistant for Jerry Kill for 21 years at Saginaw Valley State University, Emporia State University, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Northern Illinois University, and Minnesota—the last 16 as his defensive coordinator. From 2018 to 2019, Claeys was the defensive coordinator at Washington State University
