It is up to David what he talks about and to whom. No one knows what he's said apart from him. I doubt he'd have an in-depth conversation about his family when there's others around. Negative speculation is not fair or respectful to him. And if you're a true fan you'll respect his choice of partner, even if you don't particularly like her

If his casting in SOW works out he'll be in Poland for 2 months while GM is on stage 6 nights a week. She was in Mancs shooting her sitcom for 6 weeks and he shot his TV series and Christmas film during the same time. The odd brief visit is not like being together 7 days a week. Who takes care of those kids?

No one says they never see each other but they do work far harder and with more time apart than most newlyweds. It has never been 'proven' how often they visit each other on set!! Why are you so obsessed with monitoring them and proving how often they see each other?

I don't believe he is exploiting his kids for PR. If he was doing it for PR he'd talk about his wife too bc he must realize how weird it looks. He's always been open about family (parents and siblings) while remaining ultra private about partners. He clearly loves those kids. It is weird how secretive he is about his wife and maybe they are having problems or difficulty adjusting, it's such a huge life change and they work so hard and are apart more than most newlyweds. We cannot know.

You obviously do, Peter. And DT must think otherwise or he wouldn't make press announcements about his kids knowing they'll end up in a million newspapers. See he ran the Mile with Ty today but GM was carefully to keep away from the TV cameras though she was there and ran too.

Nothing will convince me O was planned or they were in a serious rship at that point, unless DT confirms it. His comments on DID implied children were something he wanted in the future, not actively planning. I think he adores being a dad as long as it doesn't interfere with his work and feels an obligation to both kids. Prob is relieved to be married after so much rejection and wants it to last for that reason even if it's not really happy or she's not the One.

Lily, he can't simply drop them. It's part of the contract he signs to promote the things he does. Also, he and CoC are very close friends and CoC knows when to stop. DT enjoys his company. He probably doesn't mind CoC doing it so much now since he knows him very well.

I do wish DT would drop CO'C and Moyles and never go on their shabby programs again. Even if Tennant did use CO'C to get the adoption news out, both exploit him unmercifully when he's on their shows. In this case John, it was clear revealing that he had adopted Ty was DT's intention. He probably told C'OC that he wanted to do this so it was out there. It was very likely planned between them to reveal this before the show.

the reason people ask him about his private life is not the fact they are at all intrested but for the reaction and squirming he displays it gets a better result if he dose not like it stay out of the spotlight coc knows he will get more listners and dt knows he going to ask or say something

Clara, the difference there is that David had given permission to Christian O Connell to bring up the child thing. He trusts him. The other interviewer later on, he doesn't know as well and hadn't said yes you can talk about this beforehand. What is wrong with David wanting to keep some aspects of his private life private? Is he not allowed to? He is the only actor to take this stance.

They are mates and these were not intrusive questions about his marriage but normal chatting. Like a conversation about going to each others houses for dinner and what kind of food they liked to serve for dinner and how best to cook it, and the interviewer said, "Oh you and your wife should come to dinner next weekend" and David made a fuss and interrupted and would not let him say the word wife. This happened about 5 times.

David was on the radio yesterday,He started by making an announcement that he'd adopted his stepson (the first time he's ever made any public acknowledgement of being married or having children) but got really upset anytime the interviewer tried to mention his wife and insisted she not be mentioned at all.

David Tennant (born David John McDonald; 18 April 1971) is a Scottish actor and voice actor. In addition to his work in theatre, including a widely praised Hamlet, Tennant is known for his role as the tenth incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who, along with the title role in the TV serial Casanova (2005) and as Barty Crouch, Jr., in the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005).
