I am 29 years old and I have loved Garth ever since I was 13. He is such a special person in my eyes. I love all of his music and I wish with all of my heart and soul to one day meet him and give him a big hug!

The whole Chris Gaines thing was sorta weird. I think he was trying to cross over into POP and do it under a different name. I believe the idea backfired. Being two different people means you are not really being yourself. He was doing fine being Garth Brooks, he didn`t need to take it to a different level. I do give him credit for trying. Keep singing Garth. Fans are still listening!

In my personal opinion, I think that Garth Brooks is the best male country music artist in the music industry because I think that his music sounds awsome. My most favorite songs from him are, "Calling Baton Rouge", "Friends In Low Places", "Shameless", and "The Dance".

His eponymous first album was released in 1989 and peaked at number 2 in the US country album chart while climbing to number 13 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Brooks' integration of rock elements into his recordings and live performances has earned him immense popularity.
