Ian Bannen (29 June 1928 – 3 November 1999) was a Scottish character actor and occasional leading man. He is known for starring as the character Christopher Lowe in From Beyond the Grave (1974), Jim Prideaux in the BBC production of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (1974), and Jackie O'Shea in Waking Ned (1998).
