A source close to the Top Chef host says the pair are taking things slowly.
"They're just getting to know each other," the source said. "They're just dating. This is the first person she's dated since Teddy [Forstmann] passed away and she's just putting a toe in the water of the dating world again. They're not sure where it's going yet."

Whatever was cooking between Padma Lakshmi and Richard Gere is done. The Top Chef host and the Pretty Woman actor have split after six months of dating, Us Weekly can confirm.
The two first started seeing each other this past spring, amid Gere's divorce from his wife of 11 years, Carey Lowell. Neither star ever acknowledged the relationship, nor were they photographed together in public, but a source told Us at the time that they were "having fun."
